[Do] Want to play Do on Skype?

I'm looking for three players to play three sessions of Do: Pilgrims of the Flying Temple over Skype with in the coming weeks. Preferably a weekly series before mid-October.

Some details: I want to kick the tires on the game as-is and get some more material for the Example of Play chapter. In other words, this is not a playtest. Each session should be ~1.5 hours, with the first one probably taking the longest as we get coordinated. If there are enough interested players (and I have enough energy), I can facilitate multiple series at the same time. As I said, I'm looking for more raw material for the Example of Play. More play, more material.

If you're interested in playing Do with me over Skype, leave a comment here with the days/times you'd be available, your email address, and we can figure out a plan from there.

  1. I'd be totally down for that. I have no idea what my crazy schedule is going to be like after this month, but I'm sure we can figure something out...

  2. I'd love to try! I've been really eager to have a go at Do. My only problem is that living in China sometimes makes it difficult to arrange things across the time zone barrier. Still, I have Monday mornings free, which is Sunday evenings in the US, so that could be a workable option.

  3. I'm definitely interested. I don't have regular days off and since I'm in Australia the times will be a bit weird but on my days off I'm extremely flexible. I just posted images of my roster to bullbar.tumblr.com to make it easier.

  4. Okay, we have Dave available for Sunday evenings (US)

Bullbar's schedule is all over the place, but I notice you have several three-day or three-night blocks available. Maybe we can work out a marathon series somehow. :)

Marc, can you give me a ballpark for when you're available?

  10. I'm interested, Daniel. I've wanted to try the game out since we first talked about it...way back whenever that was. I'm not free this weekend, but afterwards I will be. And I am pretty much whenever other than Tuesday nights as long as I get a heads-up.

  11. Whoops, add "Maybe Matt" in that Saturday and Sunday columns.

Looks like we have enough people on Sundays or Saturdays to run a game is Jamie is willing to double up. Hopefully he won't have to, though. :P

  12. Greyorm, would you be open for a slot on Saturday/Sunday to free up Mr Sitouh and/or Jamie?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Sure, that would work fine for me.

  14. I'm pretty sure I could manage a couple of hours on a Wednesday evening.

  15. Pending any unexpected problems, it looks like we have some solid saturday and sunday groups formed.

    Sunday Evenings
    Dave
    Mr Sitouh
    Jamie

    Saturday
    Greyorm
    Jenn
    Matt

That's still tentative, though. So I'm still looking for any new players for the other days.

  16. Not sure if you still need someone, but I could do Sunday or Saturday after 5 PM PST. I'm also available anytime Monday and any other day after 7 PM PST (for sure) but usually earlier (late afternoon/early evening).

  21. Hey Everyone, I'm still working out the schedules. I should email you some time today if I know your email addresses.

For my convenience, would you be so kind as to post your email address in this thread? Thanks very much! I should've asked for that in the blog post. :P

  22. Daniel, I'm pretty sure you have mine, but I'll e-mail it to you. I don't want to hand mine out to the spam bots.

  23. Okay, I just emailed the folks who I have email addresses for. Tried to accommodate as many groups as I could! If we can get more options available for Saturday afternoons or another week night, we can fit in another group.
